Collective Efforts Urged to Eradicate Child Labor on World Day Against Child Labour 2024

Lahore, Pakistan – On World Day Against Child Labour, Search for Justice, in partnership with the National Commission for Human Rights, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, and Kindernothilfe e.V., organized a impactful event, gathering esteemed guests, government representatives, civil society organizations, media, and beneficiary children and women.

The event featured prominent speakers, including Ms. Sarah Ahmed, US Consul General Ms. Kristin K. Hawkins, and Mr. Ijaz Ahmad from the International Labor Organization (ILO). Search for Justice emphasized the need for a multidimensional strategy to eradicate child labor, backed by strong political will. Child representatives presented a Charter of Demand for Child Protection to the Chairperson of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab.
