CEO Jhelum Education Rana Javed Akhtar said that this directive was issued by Deputy District Officer for Education Abdul Kareem. The notification specifically asks teachers to watch movies like Taare Zameen Par and Hichki. These films were selected for their educational content and their valuable lessons on understanding and teaching the needs of students.

Taare Zameen Pari is a Bollywood film that focuses on the struggles of a young boy with dyslexia and highlights the importance of recognizing and nurturing the unique talents of every child. Hiccup tells the story of a teacher with Tourette syndrome who turns her weakness into her greatest strength, and inspires her students to overcome their challenges.
