Spread the love

Lahore, Ms. Aeras Jabeen Awan, a member of the Women Peace Architects, conducted a successful capacity-building session with female textile workers at Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited.

The session aimed to educate and empower the women with knowledge about their rights, with a specific focus on the Nikkah nama clause and inheritance rights. The participants showed keen interest and enthusiasm, leading to insightful discussions and a deeper understanding of their rights.

The Women Peace Architects’ initiative seeks to equip women with the knowledge and confidence to exercise their rights and make informed decisions about their lives. By empowering female textile workers, we aim to promote gender equality and create a more just and inclusive society.

The session was a significant step towards achieving our goal, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that women across Pakistan have access to the knowledge and resources they need to thrive.”
