Always support their right to vote in Kashmir’s freedom struggle, Commissioner Karachi Hasan Naqvi
Karachi. The Sindh government celebrated Youm-e-Istihal Day against India’s illegal move to end the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Karachi administration organized the Youm-e-Istihal Day rally under the leadership of Provincial Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah from People’s Chowrangi to Mazar-e-Quaid, expressing solidarity with Kashmiris. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Waqar Mehdi, Rajvir Singh, Commissioner Karachi Syed Hasan Naqvi, Secretaries of various departments, all Deputy Commissioners, all Assistant Commissioners, Commissioner Karachi and all district administration staff, Education Department officers, teachers and a large number of school children participated in the rally. Minister Nasir Shah and Karachi Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi addressed the participants after the walk at Mazar-e-Quaid. Expressing solidarity with Kashmiris, Nasir Hussain Shah termed India’s move to end Kashmir’s special status as illegal and a clear violation of UN and Security Council resolutions. He said that the people of Pakistan have always been with the Kashmiris in the freedom struggle of Kashmir and will continue to support them morally and diplomatically. Commissioner Karachi Hasan Naqvi said in his address that Youm-e-Istihal Day rally is an expression of determination that the government and people of Pakistan do not accept India’s decision and they will continue to support the right of Kashmiris to vote in every forum of the world, including the United Nations.
