Gilgit-Baltistan: A team from Muslim Hands visited the picturesque districts of Hunza and Naghar, attending the Women Entrepreneur Expo in Altit. They met with the Community Enterprise Group to discuss women’s empowerment and the “Sustainable Income Generation through Beekeeping” project in collaboration with GBRSP.

The project supports 170 households in Gilgit-Baltistan, providing honey hives, training, extraction machines, and other essential resources. This initiative not only empowers women but also contributes to the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through this project, Muslim Hands is promoting sustainable livelihoods, gender equality, and community development in the region. The team’s visit and engagement with the community demonstrate their commitment to creating a positive impact in the lives of women and their families in Gilgit-Baltistan.
