Karachi, A review meeting on the performance of the Cooperative Department, Hyderabad Region, was held under the chairmanship of Advisor to the Chief Minister Sindh for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Cooperative Department, Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari. The Managing Director of the Cooperative Department, Sanaullah Rind, and Registrar Waseemuddin from Karachi also attended the meeting, along with Assistant Registrar Faizan Inayat, Bakht Ali Mazari, Deputy Registrar Hyderabad Region Sajid Ali, and various registrars and assistant registrars from different districts. During the meeting, Deputy Registrar Sajid Ali of Hyderabad Region provided a detailed briefing to the Advisor on the status of cooperative societies within the region and districts. The meeting also involved an in-depth discussion on departmental issues and the challenges faced by the Hyderabad Region and its districts.
Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari directed all officers present to ensure regular attendance in their offices and emphasized the need for full cooperation in resolving the issues faced by the public concerning cooperative societies. He stressed that any lack of transparency in the matters of societies would be dealt with strictly, and the officers involved would face severe consequences. The Advisor further instructed the officers of the Cooperative Department in Hyderabad Region and districts to prioritize the resolution of public issues related to societies. He also issued directives to take immediate steps for the digitization of all records, keeping in mind the public’s concerns.
Later in the meeting, discussions were made regarding promoting various sectors including agriculture, handicrafts and taking steps in the relevant societies of Hyderabad region for production, purchase, processing, marketing and distribution, on which Ehsanur Rahman Mazari sought a clarified action plan and instructed were given to officers to submit the summary. The review meeting on the performance of the Cooperative Department, Hyderabad Region, was held at Barrack 91, Sindh Secretariat 4B, and Karachi.
