Karachi, Sindh – The Sindh Education Foundation has reiterated its dedication to upholding the Prohibition of Employment of Children Act, ensuring that children are empowered to learn and grow without being forced into labor. Through its extensive network of formal and non-formal learning centers in marginalized areas of Sindh, the foundation provides educational opportunities to children and adolescents who were previously compelled to sacrifice their education for economic reasons.

In alignment with the Government of Sindh’s efforts to protect children’s rights, the foundation emphasizes that no child under 14 should be engaged in hazardous employment, including factories, mines, or industries harmful to their life, health, or morals. By promoting literacy, safe environments, and skill development, the foundation strives to reduce child labor in the region, fostering a brighter future for the next generation.

This initiative is a significant step towards ensuring that children are protected from exploitation and have access to the education they deserve. By working together, we can create a society that values and supports the well-being and education of all children.
