Sindh female students conquered the Battle of Chefs 2024, an international food competition in Malaysia

Karachi: The students of Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (PITHM) Sindh have won two gold and two bronze medals in the international food competition Battle of Chefs 2024 in Malaysia. At the Battle of Chefs 2024, PITHM-trained Ayesha Ali bagged gold medal in seafood while Sehrish Ayub bagged gold in the chicken main course. Similarly, Irum Shaikh won bronze in Roasted Chicken Freestyle while Fatima Sistan has also won bronze medal.

On the return of the students, Provincial Minister of Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Sindh Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah met the successful students in his office, lauds their efforts and presented a gift of traditional Sindhi Ajraks.

Shah congratulated the successful students and their parents for their success and announced a prize of Rs.50 thousand for each.

Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah said that the entire nation is proud of their daughters for their success in the international competition, PITHM is a unique and excellent institution for children, where the graduating and under-training students are shining the name of the country all over the world, he added.

On the occasion, Director PITHM Hidayatullah Rajar was also present.
