Swat Valley, Pakistan – Asif Javid, an alumnus of the Study of United States Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders program, recently spearheaded a successful tree planting drive in Swat Valley. Over the past two weeks, Javid and his dedicated team planted an impressive 900+ trees to combat climate change through sustainable practices.
Inspired by his SUSI experience, Javid aimed to contribute to Pakistan’s efforts to mitigate climate change. This initiative demonstrates the impact of exchange programs in fostering global citizenship and environmental stewardship.
