Islamabad, Pakistan – Dr. Luay Shabaneh, Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Pakistan, has held meetings with the Chief Ministers of all four provinces, marking a significant milestone in his high-level advocacy efforts to advance the reproductive health and family planning agenda in the country.
Since the new government took office, Dr. Shabaneh has engaged with the Chief Ministers of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan to discuss key issues related to reproductive health, family planning, and population development. These meetings aim to strengthen partnerships and secure commitments from the provincial governments to prioritize reproductive health and family planning services, ensuring improved health and well-being for the people of Pakistan.
