Victory in the T20 World Cup, the Indian board showered money on the team
The head of Indian cricket board BCCI Jay Shah has announced the prize money of 125 crore Indian rupees, which is about 4 billion Pakistani rupees, for the Indian cricket team on social media platform X.
Congratulating all the players, coaches and support staff, Jai Shah said that the team showed unparalleled ability, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
It should be noted that India became the world champion once again by defeating South Africa in the final match of T20 World Cup played in Bridgetown, Barbados yesterday.
