The case of the death of the alleged
accused in the lock-up of Derakhshan police station in Karachi was registered
in Derakhshan police station on the complaint of the government.
According to the police, a case has been registered under other provisions including murder. SHO Derakhshan and Head Editor have been named in the case.
The police say that the arrested
citizen Moeez Naseem was arrested in a case and the custody of the accused was
to be given to the investigation. The arrested accused died due to unknown
reasons in the police station's lap-up.
