Extreme heat wave continues across Sindh, Dadu, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur and Moin-jo-daro where heat intensity reached 50 degrees Celsius,
where most of the people lost their health due to load shedding. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Dadu, Moinjo Daro, Jacobabad, Larkana and Shikarpur reached 50 degrees Celsius while in Rohri and Khairpur it reached 49 degrees Celsius.Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Padaidan, Chur and Mithi recorded 48 degrees Celsius and Hyderabad recorded 47 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in the capital city of Karachi reached 40 degrees Celsius, but the intensity of the heat was felt more there.
Meteorologist Jawad Memon says that the heat may cause more havoc in the next few days. He said that this extreme heat wave will continue till May 27 and during this time the temperature may rise further across Sindh.
The Meteorological Department has predicted three heatwaves in the country, one of which is ongoing, one in early June and the last is likely to occur in late June.
The experts have advised the citizens not to go out in the sun unnecessarily and to use more water.
