ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their unwavering courage and professional excellence in the successful execution of *Marqa-e-Haq*, emphasizing their resilience against unprovoked aggression.
During his visit to Gujranwala Cantonment, the President, accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, was received by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), along with the commanders of Mangla and Gujranwala Corps.
Paying tribute to military and civilian martyrs, the President reiterated their sacrifices as a sacred trust, highlighting the nation's unbreakable spirit in defending the motherland. He praised the armed forces’ swift and decisive action in repelling aggression within hours, reinforcing Pakistan’s strength and unity on the global stage.
Interacting with officers and troops, President Zardari applauded their combat readiness, morale, and commitment to duty. He also extended congratulations on the successful completion of *Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos*, affirming that the people of Pakistan hold their defenders in the highest regard.
