An influential man who was caught on video assaulting a motorcyclist in Karachi’s Defence area has been arrested. The suspect, along with his driver and guard, was taken into custody, and the vehicle used during the incident has been seized.
The arrest took place in Defence, and the suspect was transferred to Gizri Police Station. Prior to this, late-night raids were conducted at his office and residence, but he was not found. The viral video shows the suspect attacking the motorcyclist after a collision with his luxury car. A woman, believed to be the victim’s sister, can be seen pleading for mercy.
Police confirmed that the victim’s family had not reported the incident, but efforts are being made to contact them
