Karachi: Journalist Imtiaz Mir’s Murder Case Solved, Four Terror Suspects Arrested

In Karachi’s Malir Kala Board area, four alleged terrorists involved in the September 21 shooting and murder of journalist Imtiaz Mir have been arrested. During a press conference at the Karachi Police Office, Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar revealed that the suspects belong to a banned organization and are both educated and trained—one having completed an MBA and another having passed matriculation.
The Home Minister further disclosed that the suspects were being facilitated by a neighboring country and had been conducting surveillance on Imtiaz Mir for several days. Accompanied by the IG Sindh and Additional IG, Lanjar stated that weapons and pistols were recovered from the suspects. Further investigation is underway.
