Art & Craft Winter workshop Begins at Bhitshah Culture Center

Bhit Shah, Sindh: An Art and Craft Winter Workshop, focusing on painting, drawing, sketching, and mold casting, commenced today, 22nd December, at Bhitshah Culture Center and will continue till 31st December. The workshop has received an overwhelming response, with more than 100 participants registered, including a large number of girls, highlighting strong community interest and participation.
The workshop is an initiative of Bhitshah Culture Center, Culture Department, Government of Sindh, aimed at promoting art, creativity, and cultural awareness. It also provides a constructive and creative opportunity for students during winter vacations, enabling them to engage in meaningful artistic activities.
This initiative reflects the vision of the Honorable Minister for Culture, Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah, to encourage artistic expression among the people of Sindh and to strengthen cultural roots through accessible learning platforms.
The workshop is being conducted by noted artist and instructor Mohammad Ali Supro, who is guiding participants through practical techniques and creative processes in a structured learning environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Adil Ahmed Dayo, Deputy Director, Bhitshah Culture Center, stated:
“Such workshops are essential to nurture creativity among youth and to provide inclusive platforms, especially for girls to explore and express their artistic potential while staying connected with our culture.”
The Art & Craft Winter Workshop will continue till 31st December, featuring interactive sessions, hands on practice, and creative exploration, reaffirming Bhitshah Culture Center’s commitment to cultural education and artistic development in Sindh. Participants will also receive certificates after completion of workshop.
