MITHI In a landmark move to bridge the gap between traditional education and market-driven skills, the Thar Education Alliance, in collaboration with **Bank Alfalah, has successfully launched a TVET initiative for 50 young women in the desert district of Tharparkar.
As Pakistan grapples with high youth unemployment, this joint venture targets the heart of the issue by training 25 girls in **Graphic Designing** and another 25 in Sewing and Embroidery. The program doesn't just stop at certificates; the TEA has announced that toppers will receive laptops and sewing machines to kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys.
Partab Shivani, CEO of Thar Education Alliance, emphasized that this CSR-funded project is a direct response to the lack of development in the region. *"Once trained, these girls will not only gain control over family resources but will emerge as role models for the entire district,"* he stated.
