Karachi An important meeting was chaired by Sindh Local Government Minister and Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Finance, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah. The Secretary Finance, Secretary General Administration, and senior officials from various departments attended.
The meeting reviewed ongoing financial, administrative, and development matters across the province. Detailed discussions were held on financial challenges faced by government institutions, provision of funds, and progress on development schemes. Pending matters from previous meetings were revisited, with progress reports sought from relevant authorities.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah emphasized that the Sindh Government is giving top priority to public relief, basic facilities, and welfare projects. He directed officials to ensure transparent utilization of funds, financial discipline, and effective monitoring of development schemes. Proposals from the Irrigation Department were reviewed, with several approved and others deferred for further scrutiny.
He reiterated that transparency, speed, and quality will not be compromised in public welfare projects, urging departments to ensure timely completion and efficient resource utilization. The meeting also discussed financial resource availability, priorities, and improved coordination among departments.
