Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has said that, الحمدللہ, Pakistan is an Islamic country rich in the blessings of Islam and has always remained prepared to defend its sovereignty and security. He urged Afghanistan to come out of misconceptions and face the ground realities, and to stand by Pakistan as a good neighbor instead of becoming involved in wars, serving the interests of other countries or relying on Indian funding.
In a statement issued today, he said Afghanistan is Pakistan’s brotherly neighboring country but is under the misconception that it defeated the Soviet Union. He said the Soviet Union’s defeat was not solely due to Afghanistan, as several forces were involved. Mir Ziaullah Langau said the United States also did not leave Afghanistan because of defeat, but withdrew from the country following an understanding with the Afghan Taliban.
He said Afghanistan is now under the misconception that it has become a major power and wants to fight Pakistan with financial support from India and Israel. He added that Pakistan is an Islamic country with millions of religious scholars who pray daily for the country’s security, while the Pakistan Army is fully prepared along the borders to respond strongly to any threat.
The Home Minister urged Afghanistan to come out of its misconceptions and face the ground realities, and to remain with Pakistan as a good neighbor instead of becoming involved in wars and serving the interests of other countries. He said Afghanistan should also save its people from the suffering of war and compensate for the losses its people have endured during four decades of conflict, rather than pushing the country into another war. He said if Afghanistan chooses to fight Pakistan, defeat will be its fate, InshaAllah.
