A meeting was organized by the
Association of Karachi Assignment Editors on Saturday, June 24, under the
leadership of President Akae Khalid Zaman, in which Senior Assignment Editors
participated exclusively and an ad-hoc till the election to activate the unit.
Consultations were held to form the committee in which it was decided that the basic committee of the present unit will be maintained with some changes.

An ad hoc committee has been formed after consultation and advice from all friends and seniors, which includes active assignment editors from all channels including women. This ad hoc committee will continue its work till the elections.
