In the workshop, problems related to hygiene and their possible solutions were presented in girls' schools and women's offices and workplaces, especially during menstruation. In the workshop, non-availability of washrooms for women in government girls' schools, offices and women's workplaces was identified as an important underlying problem. Addressing the workshop, WaterAid Country Director Arif Jabbar Khan said that the journey of WaterAid Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) started from the year 2011, which went on to become a regular menstrual hygiene awareness campaign and we With the help of our partners, we will further expand this chain.
Addressing the workshop, MHM lawyer Rahima Panhor informed about the involvement of various factors, role, training in the project. Former opposition leader Sindh Rana Ansar and former special assistant for IT Tanzeela Umm Habiba, officials of the education and health department also participated in the workshop.

Speaking at the workshop, Chief Guest Sindh Caretaker Health Minister Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz said that this is a very sensitive and important issue that needs to be discussed and resolved.
He congratulated the organizers for highlighting the issue of girl child hygiene. He said that it is not only menstrual hygiene but also a fundamental problem related to the health of girls, so there should be no further delay in solving this long-standing problem. He said that as caretaker minister of health, public health engineering and social welfare, he has the solution to this problem
As a doctor and minister, he fully supports this project. He said that we will expand this project as much as possible with the cooperation of the Education Department and other institutions and in this regard he will also go to Thatta to visit many projects. He said that it is a source of great shame for me that even in the year 2023 we are suffering from these basic problems.
He announced that sanitary kits for women will be provided in one month in all government hospitals and it will be ensured that women do not face any problem. In the workshop, the provincial minister was also shown various charts and models prepared by school girls of Thatt.
