Condemnation of dismissal of 90 percent of employees from Dunya newspaper.
The Karachi Union of Journalists has strongly condemned the dismissal of 90 percent of the employees of Dunya News Karachi.
KUJ president Ijaz Ahmed, general secretary Uzam Jamali and all the members of the executive council have said in their statement that the employees of the daily Dunya News were suddenly told that the newspaper was being shifted to Lahore.
For this reason, the staff is being fired. Calling this process an economic murder of journalists and workers, KJ demanded the management of Dunya newspaper to reinstate the dismissed employees immediately.
