Conducting H.E.A.T training by SSU; Participation of 25 journalists of Pakistan Press International


A one-day Hostile Environment Awareness Training (H.E.A.T) program was organized at SSU headquarters in which 25 journalists of Pakistan Press International participated


According to the spokesperson DIG Security and Emergency Services Division, the objective of the session was to educate journalists on how to protect themselves and the people around them in any emergency situation created by terrorists


During the training session, the journalists were informed about the measures to protect life and property in any emergency situation, how to avoid risks and how to maintain self-confidence and competence.


The participants were also made aware of self defense techniques and use of different types of weapons and positive attitude in dangerous situations


A mock exercise was also conducted by the SSU commandos during the training


It is worth mentioning here that the visiting journalists will play a key role in the media coverage of the upcoming general elections


Journalists showed keen interest during the training session and thanked DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed and other senior officers for conducting the session
