A big step to make the vaccination process more effective to prevent deadly
diseases in Sindh
For the first time in the province, the women vaccinators will be given
bicycles
The process of bike driving training will take place in
two or three days
Fifty-five women vaccinators will be provided with bicycles under the
historic initiative of the World Health Organization and the provincial health
department
Sindh Health Department says that vigorous measures are being taken across Sindh to prevent twelve deadly
diseases
Female vaccinators will not need to reach the center through other vehicles
Special uniforms will also be provided to women vaccinators. The electric
bikes will be distributed next week
EPI provides vaccines against TB, Polio, Diarrhea, Meningitis, Pneumonia,
Diphtheria, Whooping Cough
Also includes provision of vaccination against whooping cough, tetanus,
pertussis, typhoid, measles and rubella
