"USAID Pakistan HumAhang Team Empowers Youth at Shah Abdul Latif University Orientation Session"
USAID Pakistan HumAhang team conducted a dynamic Youth Assembly Orientation Session at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur (SALU). The session equipped 34 Youth Assembly members (24 males, 10 females) with essential skills and knowledge to drive peacebuilding and disaster risk reduction (DRR) in their communities. Participants developed impactful social action projects aimed at raising awareness and supporting their local communities.
During the visit, HumAhang’s COP, Mr. Azim Arshad, met with SALU’s Vice-Chancellor and the Climate Change Curriculum Committee to discuss collaborative efforts in producing future-ready leaders. These initiatives aim to combine academic knowledge with a commitment to positive societal change, ensuring students are well-prepared to create a meaningful impact.
