KARACHI Advisor to CM on Livestock Fisheries and Human Settlement Syed Najmi Alam presided over an important meeting on development projects of Livestock and Fisheries at the office of Secretary Livestock Fisheries on Thursday. The occasion was Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Syal along with Director Generals of Livestock and Fisheries, directors of various departments and officers associated with the above projects participated. While taking the briefing, Syed Najmi Alam handed over the prepared development plans of the Department of Livestock and Fisheries and instructed them to take the prepared plans and start them so that the works for which these plans have been made can start and the people of the province can benefit from these plans. During the briefing, the provincial advisor was told that we have started a total of 40 development projects out of which 32 projects are ready. Najmi Alam said during the briefing that we have to protect the breeds of domestic animals which have been in Sindh since ancient times and we have to pay attention to the breeds which produce milk along with meat. Najmi Alam directed his officials to implement the vigilance system during the preparation of the project to find out whether the project is being developed as per requirement or if there is any defect in it which can be identified and corrected in time and should be corrected and the people of Sindh can benefit from this project.
