KARACHI,On the instructions of Director General Sindh Building Control Authority, Abdul Rasheed Solangi, the campaign against illegal construction is going on in full swing.
In the ongoing demolition campaign, additional floors, portions and other illegal constructions including violations of land use were demolished and sealed in different districts of the city.
In the light of the orders of the Director General SBCA, on special instructions of the Demolition Squad is continuing the demolition operations seven days a week without any holiday and so far demolition and other legal actions have been taken against more than 150 illegal constructions across the city.
Apart from this, on the instructions of Director General Abdul Rashid Solangi, the action of the Demolition Squad is ongoing. But in the action against the illegal marriage hall, the booking office, room, stage and kitchen walls along with the RC roof were demolished and the illegal construction of the second floor on Plot No. 17/54, Block 03, Farhan CHS was sealed while the plot in Garden West No. 438/1, GW, 17th-floor partition walls and RCC columns demolished against approved plan Further demolition is in progress. Khan and the concerned Deputy and Assistant Directors and Demolition Officers were brought into action while during this time a heavy contingent of local police including the SBCA Police Force was also present there to control the law and order situation.
