He started his career spanning decades from Radio Pakistan. Very kind down to earth and loveable Mir Muhammad Ufat were active for the promotion of language and literature in Balochistan all his life.
Even before the beginning of television broadcasting in Balochistan, Mir Muhammad Ulfat was recognized as a beautiful voice of Radio Pakistan Brahvi and Urdu language, wherever the sound of radio reached all over the country.
Ulfat has been serving as Brahvi language translator and newscaster from PTV Quetta since the start of news bulletin. Mir Muhammad was also awarded the Presidential Award by the Government of Pakistan for writing in Brahvi on the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
