Awami Tahreek strongly rejects all anti-people, anti-Sindh, anti-Pakistan, and unconstitutional projects being forced upon us by the state. The six new canals on the Indus River, corporate farming disguised as the "Pakistan Green Initiative," illegal amendments in IRSA, the black law PECA, the unfair structure of the Council of Common Interests (CCI), and secret decisions by the SIFC—these are not development plans. They are part of a cruel agenda to steal Sindh’s water, grab its land, silence its people, and hand over our resources to powerful corporate mafias. These are not projects—they are death warrants for Sindh.
The state has crossed all boundaries by opening fire on peaceful and sleeping protesters in Babarlo. This brutality has exposed the real face of the government. But let it be clear—such repression will not break our spirit. The people of Sindh are not afraid of bullets. Sindh has never bowed before tyranny, and it never will. The flame of resistance is burning brighter than ever.
For the past three days, Awami Tahreek has been actively present at the Babarlo sit-in, standing shoulder to shoulder with courageous advocates and showing complete solidarity with Aamir Warraich and Hassan Abbas. Both Awami Tahreek and Sindhiani Tahreek are not just making speeches—they are on the ground 24/7, fully committed to the cause.
The central leadership of Awami Tahreek—Advocate Wasand Thari (Central President), Noor Ahmed Katiyaar (Senior Vice President), Advocate Sajjad Ahmed Chandio, Advocate Sajjid Mahesar (General Secretary), Kabir Bheel, Advocate Ayaz Saleh, and Advocate Ram Kolhi—are leading the protest with full strength. Sindhiani Tahreek is equally active, raising powerful slogans against injustice. Its leaders—Ms. Shamshad Babar, Ms. Robina Bhatti, Advocate Hina Baloch, Ms. Kauser Phulpoto, and Ms. Safia Rajper—stand strong and determined for the rights of Sindh.
Awami Tahreek and Sindhiani Tahreek demand: Cancel all anti-people projects now. Take your hands off our river, our land, and our resources. Sindh’s water is not for sale. Sindh’s people are not slaves. This is not just a protest—it is a movement for justice, dignity, and survival.
This struggle will not stop. This fire will spread. This voice will grow louder—until every anti-Sindh scheme is buried in the dustbin of history. We are awake, united, and ready. Sindh will resist. Sindh will rise. Sindh will win.
