Sir Syed University's Chancellor Pays Tribute to National Hero Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan on Youm-e-Takbeer

Karachi, – Chancellor Akbar Ali Khan of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology congratulated the nation on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer and paid great tribute to the architect of Pakistan’s nuclear program, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. He stated that May 28 marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s history when the country made its defense capabilities impregnable, sending a clear message to adversaries that Pakistan will never compromise on its security.
Akbar Ali Khan further emphasized, "Our scientists and engineers have played a crucial role in making Pakistan’s defense indestructible. On this historic day, we must pledge to advance in the fields of modern science, technology, and engineering, strengthening the country and paving the way for national progress."
Addressing students, he said, "Mastering modern research, science, and engineering is the need of the hour so that Pakistan can emerge as a scholarly and technological power in the world."
Paying homage to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Akbar Ali Khan acknowledged his invaluable contributions, stating that Dr. Khan’s dedication and expertise provided Pakistan with an invincible defense system. "He will always remain the guardian of Pakistan’s defense and a hero of the nation."
