Karachi Bar Association Extends Support to Sindh Employees’ Demands

Karachi  The Karachi Bar Association (KBA) has expressed full support for the genuine demands of the All Sindh Employees Alliance (SEA), calling for immediate action from the Sindh Government to address key issues faced by employees across the province.

In an official statement, the KBA backed the reversal of recent pension reforms, an increase in salaries and pensions, provision of the Disparity Reduction Allowance, and the extension of Group Insurance and Benevolent Fund benefits for employees from BPS-01 to BPS-22.

“The employees of Sindh are the backbone of provincial administration and public service delivery, and their rights, job security, and financial stability must be ensured,” said Muhammad Ghulam Rehman Korai, General Secretary of the Karachi Bar Association.

The KBA emphasized that it stands in solidarity with the employees’ “just struggle” and urged the Sindh Government to immediately accept and implement their demands in the broader interest of justice, fairness, and welfare of the working class.

The move by the KBA adds weight to the growing calls from various quarters for the Sindh Government to address the longstanding grievances of its employees.
