“Half Fry” and “Full Fry” are violations of the Constitution and human rights: Awami Tehreek

Naukot Awami Tehreek’s Central Information Secretary Lal Jarwar, Ashraf Rind, Rahman Nohri, Maro Qasmani, Amar Jaleel, Ayaz Kaloi, Ramzan Kaloi, and Hassan Kapri visited various villages including Naukot, Santoro Farm, Bachal Kaloi, Prem Nagar, and Kot Mir Jan Muhammad, where they participated in corner meetings.
While addressing the gatherings, Central Information Secretary Lal Jarwar and other leaders said that MQM’s murderous and terrorist group, under the patronage of the federal government of Muslim League (N) and the provincial government of Pakistan Peoples Party, and under the leadership of the Governor of Sindh, has been running a country-hostile campaign for the past five years to fragment Sindh the civilized nation and creator of Pakistan.
They stated that Pakistan’s establishment and the federal government have been implementing policies aimed at cornering the people of smaller provinces and seizing their resources. Due to these flawed policies, the situations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have become extremely alarming.
The leaders further said that during the past eighteen years of Pakistan Peoples Party rule in Sindh, provincial institutions have been destroyed through corruption. Instead of protecting the life and property of citizens, the police institution is functioning as a private force of elected representatives, ministers, and advisers. The police have become so uncontrolled that, at the behest of feudal lords, they have surpassed even SAVAK police in subjecting innocent people to “full fry” and “half fry” killings.
They added that bandits are patronized by tribal chieftains, who earn millions of rupees through kidnappings, turning dacoity into a heinous business. The federal government has once again begun promoting the construction of new canals on the Indus River. Through the collusion of Muslim League (N), Pakistan Peoples Party, and the establishment, the 250 million people of Pakistan have been sold to American imperialism, the IMF, and global imperialist institutions.
They said that lawlessness and insecurity prevail in Sindh, while narcotics are being sold openly in shops with the support of elected representatives and the administration. They emphasized that Awami Tehreek has always struggled for Sindh’s unity, ownership of resources, the rights of peasants, and against the destruction of agriculture, and will continue strong but peaceful resistance against all unconstitutional and undemocratic measures in the future. The people of Sindh should organize themselves to safeguard their rights and intensify peaceful democratic struggle.
