On February 16, a protest note was handed to the Afghan government regarding the Bajaur terrorist attack, according to the Foreign Office.

Pakistan condemned the suicide attack and firing on its Bajaur check post. The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that “Khawarij miscreants and TTP are conducting operations inside Pakistan from Afghan soil.”

He added: “It is regrettable that despite assurances, Afghan soil continues to be used against Pakistan.”

The spokesperson urged the Afghan Taliban to take strict action against terrorist groups operating from their territory. He emphasized that eliminating safe havens of terrorists is the responsibility of the Afghan government.
