Karachi In order to lift the poor people of Sindh out of poverty and strengthen them economically, it has been decided to provide milk animals to poor families across the province under the Pro-Poor Social Protection and Economic Sustainability Initiative Program. This was stated by Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Muhammad Ali Malkani while chairing a high-level meeting at his office on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi, Director Animal Breeding Sindh Dr. Jamaluddin Junejo, Sajid Basit Qadri, DG PPRM Danel Khan, CEO SRSO Sono Khangrani, and Chief Executive TMF. On this occasion, Provincial Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani said that through this program they aim to assist poor people in every district of Sindh. He added that special priority will be given to widows and orphan families so that they can become economically stable. He further stated that the program is expected to begin in the districts of Tharparkar and Badin. He emphasized that transparency will be ensured in the program and no political or social recommendations will be accepted. Only those who are poor and truly deserving will benefit from the program. He also said that a survey will be conducted for this purpose, through which the government will identify the union councils and districts where poverty is more prevalent, and those areas will be given priority. He expressed hope that necessary measures have been taken to ensure transparency in the program so that poor people across Sindh can benefit from it.
