"District South Karachi Hosts Marka-e-Haq Ceremony, Students Shine with Speeches, Tableaus, and National Songs"

Karachi: The District Education Office South organized a dignified district-level ceremony titled Marka-e-Haq at CMS Government Higher Secondary School, Karachi, on Friday, May 22, 2026.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Baloch, Member Provincial Assembly (Lyari), along with distinguished guests including Mr. Mirza Arshad Baig, Director Elementary, Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, and Mr. Khalil Hoat, Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Lyari. Other notable attendees included Mr. Niaz Hussain Burriro (DEO Primary East), Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Unnar (DEO Secondary Central), Mr. Anwar Ali Bhatti (Chairman Private Schools & Colleges), Mr. Shakeel Hoat, and several respected dignitaries.
As a gesture of honour and hospitality, guests were presented with Sindh’s cultural symbol, the Ajrak.
In his welcome address, District Education Officer South Karachi, Mr. Imtiaz Ali Bughio, highlighted that Marka-e-Haq symbolizes the triumph of truth and righteousness, emphasizing that the entire nation stands united with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Chief Guest Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Baloch praised Pakistan’s highly capable and professional armed forces, calling them a source of national pride. He recalled that Pakistan attained nuclear power under the leadership of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, making the country invincible. He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party will continue to defend the nation at all levels and lauded the educational services of the District Education Officer South.
Mr. Mirza Arshad Baig commended District South Karachi for organizing a remarkable event and praised the students for their outstanding performances in speeches, tableaus, and national songs. He noted that District South holds a leading position in Karachi Division in terms of educational standards and extracurricular activities.
Students from various schools presented a diverse range of performances, including welcome songs, Urdu, English, and Sindhi speeches, as well as patriotic tableaus on national songs such as “ہم تیرے سپاہی”, “اے وطن تیرا سہارا”, “اے پتر ہٹاں تے نہیں وکدے”, and “ہم ہیں پاکستانی”.
Chairman TMC Lyari, Mr. Khalil Hoat, congratulated the District South team on successfully organizing the event and paid tribute to the martyrs, stating that the entire nation stands united with them.'
At the conclusion of the ceremony, appreciation certificates were distributed among students, schools, and teachers who contributed to the event. Members of the District South organizing committee, including Madam Rehana Channar, Mr. Liaquat Ali, Miss Shazia Sadiq, Mr. Kunwar Abdul Khaliq, and Miss Rubina Naz, were also present.
