Pakistan notifies new fuel rates for August thirteen.

The Government of Pakistan has officially issued a notification revising the retail prices of petroleum products across the country. According to the latest notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by 94 paisas per liter, bringing the new price down to 324 rupees and 98 paisas per liter. Conversely, the price of high-speed diesel has seen a minor surge of 54 paisas per liter, setting its updated market rate at 382 rupees and 79 paisas per liter. Official sources confirm that these revised petroleum rates are effective for August 13. While the marginal decrease in petrol offers minor relief, the hike in diesel prices is expected to impact transport and logistics costs nationwide.
