A woman named Naseem set herself on fire by sprinkling petrol on herself in the street of Orangi Town Sector 1D. The police claim that the woman was suffering from severe mental stress due to financial problems.
Tired of inflation and hunger, the woman had come to spend a few days at her younger sister's house two days ago.
The woman tried to commit suicide several times at her sister's house but was not successful.
Last morning, the woman left after asking to go to her elder sister's house, and after pouring petrol on herself, she set fire to the street.
The people present at the spot immediately shifted the woman to the Civil Burns Ward.
The condition of the victim is critical
