Karachi Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh and Chairperson of the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA), Junaid Buland, conducted a surprise visit to the STEVTA Regional Office in Hyderabad. During the visit, Junaid Buland reviewed the attendance register and found 13 employees absent. The Chairman, while issuing instructions for action against the absent employees, stated that the purpose of such visits is to ensure compliance with attendance rules and improve administrative efficiency.
He further added, “Such behavior reflects a lack of discipline and accountability, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.” He directed that all regional offices should strengthen attendance monitoring to prevent such violations in the future. Disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with STEVTA’s regulations, based on the inquiry results.
Junaid Buland expressed the commitment of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Sindh Government to ensure transparency and administrative efficiency in all educational and technical institutions. He also clarified that such surprise visits would continue periodically to maintain accountability.
