The National Institute of Maritime Affairs
(NIMA), in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross
(ICRC), concluded a three-day training
workshop on International Maritime and Humanitarian Laws. It was attended by naval practitioners, researchers,
and law graduates.
The interactive
sessions provided deep insight into the
genesis of law of armed conflicts , internal frictions, legal instruments to
govern naval warfare, maritime law enforcement, and the prosecution of
international crimes
The workshop highlighted the need for
collaborative approach to address these challengs.
At the end, the
chief guest V Adm Ahmed Saeed HI(M) President NIMA distributed the certificates
and addressed the participants.
