Ex-DG, Sindh Building Control Authority Manzoor Qadir alias Kaka, involved in passing the illegal map of Nasla Tower in Karachi, arrested.
The court canceled the interim bail. The Supreme Court declared the construction of Nasla Tower illegal.
The building was demolished on the order of the court in 2022.
The case of illegal allotment of Nasla Tower's land in the Special Judge Provincial Anti-Corruption Court. A hearing was held on the application for confirmation of interim bail of the accused former DG, SBCA Manzoor Qadir alias Kaka.
The public prosecutor took the position that Manzoor Kaka had illegally passed the map of Nasla Tower. The accused and other accused are accused of increasing the land of Nasla Tower from seven hundred yards to eleven and a quarter yards.
The lawyer of the accused said that the allegations leveled against Manzoor Qadir alias Kaka are false.
They should be endorsed in interim bail. After hearing the arguments of the lawyers of the parties, the court reserved its decision on the confirmation of interim bail.
The court, giving a safe verdict, canceled the interim bail of the accused Manzoor Qadir alias Kaka and Khair Muhammad, and directed them to be detained.
Former DG, Sindh Building Control Authority was arrested from the court premises.
The Supreme Court had ordered to file a case against the illegal construction of Nasla Tower.
Nasla Tower was demolished in 2022 on the orders of the Supreme Court.
