Advisor Syed Najmi Alam order to immediately demolish illegal constructions in the Fisheries Department
Karachi Adviser to CM Sindh on Fisheries, Livestock and Human Settlement, Syed Najmi Alam directs to Director of Operations against illegal constructions to take immediate action and to demolish them and said that restoring export of fisheries and solving the problems of fishermen is our first priority and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.
He gave these instructions today while an emergency visit to Karachi Fish Harbor and inspecting the Fish Harbor after taking a briefing from the senior officers.
MD Ali Gul Sanjrani and Director Operation Karachi Fish Harbor Dr Muhammad Asim Karim were also present on this occasion. Advisor Najmi Alam reviewed the cleaning measures at Karachi Fish Harbor and emphasized the need for positive measures to end the ban imposed by the European Union.
He reviewed various measures for the welfare of fishermen, in which orders were issued to ensure the provision of training, equipment to deal with emergency situations.
He also indicated the launch of various schemes for the education and training of fishermen's children. Fishermen reviewed the various problems of the operative society and directed them to prepare proposals for their solution and directed the Secretary Co-operative Society to hold elections soon and stressed on practical steps to remove illegal constructions and encroachments on Karachi Fish Harbor as soon as possible.
