Political Narrative Rejected: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari's Take on Sialkot Elections
Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has stated that the people have voted for PML-N’s service, trusting the party in Sialkot. She criticized an individual wearing a “Prisoner No. 804” shirt for chanting PML-N slogans, claiming that their narrative has failed.
Bukhari emphasized that the people appreciated the Punjab government's public service and recognized the efforts of the Chief Minister. She accused two opposing parties of lamenting over the Sialkot elections, saying that their script is now exposed.
She also pointed out that the Secretary General of PTI was unaware that this was the second election in Punjab and termed the Sialkot election as a test case for the people. Moreover, she alleged that misleading information was being provided to an imprisoned individual.
Furthermore, she highlighted that modern weaponry has been supplied to the police in Dera Ghazi Khan. In a sarcastic note, she congratulated the PPP for securing 6,000 votes in the Sialkot election.
