Shehroz Iqbal – A Father, A Son, A Dream
Shehroz Iqbal, married for five years and father to a four-year-old boy, lost his life in the blaze. He was at the shop earning his livelihood when smoke and flames suffocated him. His body was later taken to Surjani Town, where his family was devastated. A child’s wait for his father has ended forever.
Muhammad Aamir – The Silent Sacrifice of Bravery
Muhammad Aamir, a 20-year-old carpenter who made wooden frames, initially managed to escape the fire. But the cries from inside the building compelled him to return. He rescued several people but could not save himself. His final WhatsApp message read: “Don’t worry.” Aamir’s sacrifice teaches us that true bravery is not loud—it is a silent act of selflessness.
