LARKANA: Awami Tehreek Protests Against Water Theft, 28th Amendment, and Dacoit Rule

Awami Tehreek staged a protest rally in Larkana from Jinnah Bagh to the Press Club against the alleged theft of Sindh’s water, the proposed 28th Constitutional Amendment, corporate farming, and the prevailing dacoit rule. Led by central leaders including Sajid Hussain Mahesar, the protesters accused the Punjab government and IRSA of illegally halting Sindh's water share. The leadership criticized the PPP-led provincial government for engaging in political bargaining and demanded the immediate cancellation of the 52,713-acre land allotment for corporate farming. They also called for an immediate halt to the construction of new dams and canals, warning of severe environmental and agricultural crises in Sindh.
