Closed room hearing of cipher case: Shah Mehmood's physical remand extended for another 3 days
Islamabad: The special court established under the Official Secrets Act has extended the physical remand of Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case for another 3 days.
Judge Abul Al Hasanat of the Special Court of Islamabad heard the cipher case against PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a closed room in which the FIA produced Shah Mahmood in the court.
After listening to the arguments of the parties, the court reserved the decision on Shah Mahmood's request for further physical remand, which was further extended after some time.
The court sent Shah Mehmood Qureshi to the custody of FIA on physical remand for 3 days, after which FIAPTI left with the leader.
It should be noted that earlier the court handed over Shah Mehmood Qureshi to FIA on 4-day physical remand, after which his physical remand period has now increased to 7 days.
