According to the WWF report, the number of vultures in Pakistan increased to 358 between 2006 and 2015. This year, the number of vultures in Pakistan has decreased to 233.
Vultures are becoming extinct due to the use of diflufenic drug on livestock, the use of diflufenic was banned in 2006 to protect vultures from extinction.
Apart from diflufenac, drugs like esclofenac and ketoprofen are also dangerous for vultures.
Vultures are harmed by eating dead animals or carcasses after the use of drugs.
