DC South Karachi, Captain (R) Altaf Hussain Sario orchestrated an interactive session involving religious scholars and Ulma-e-Karams regarding the National Immunization Days (NIDs) and Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) initiatives. Ulma-e-Karams and Scholars from diverse Union Councils were extensively briefed on the prevailing polio conditions, particularly the challenges within Karachi and the southern district. The session also encompassed deliberations on the role of religious scholars and Ulma-e-Karams in the global effort to eradicate the virus, with a specific focus on knowledge exchange with experts from other nations. An appeal was made to the scholars and Ulma-e-Karams to actively engage in this capacity. The session underscored the priorities of DC South in alignment with the national objective, expressing gratitude to the scholars for their substantive involvement. All attending scholars affirmed their commitment to actively contribute during forthcoming campaigns.
