Mangala Sharma is a Pakistani
politician who has been a member of the Sindh Provincial Assembly since August
2018.

Welfare Association which works on labor and social rights of minorities.
Mangala Sharma participated in the
local body elections in 2000. She won from the Union Council and later served
in the City Council till 2005 and again in 2016. You can say that she started

seats on the ticket of political parties. The most surprising thing in this is
that the candidates chosen by the various political parties are either very
rich, good businessmen or else they are engaged in some work in which their
economic condition is very stable and excellent. Is. He comes to the minority
seat from the representative political party. He is not accountable to the
people of the grassroots minority because he is not elected by their vote. On
whose ticket he has come to this seat.
I say we still need to make a good
strategy in this regard. In local body elections, the quota of minorities or
women should be kept as chairman or vice chairman so that they can understand
politics. To know what politics is and how to solve the problems of the people.
Even better and my suggestion is that
if a political party selects a female or male candidate for a specific seat
once, that is fine, but in the next election they should be fielded on a
general seat so that they can win and win in their constituency. Solve the
problems. The reserved seat should then be given to a young woman and a man. So
that a perfect process of election will run. Where the minority cast their
vote, their process is stopped.
The minorities are staring at the
political parties that if they give tickets, they can come to a particular
seat.
Women should contest municipal
elections so that they can know public issues, after that they should contest
elections at the provincial level in the same way then they are eligible to
contest elections in the general seat.
Because despite going through the
election process, the problems of the minorities are not solved to the extent
or level as they should be solved.
Political parties have their own
ideology, different political parties think and act in different ways. So far,
the importance and existence of women has not been recognized by the political
parties in the way it should be. If women were recognized and given importance,
women would have contested elections from different constituencies in general
seats and general elections. I am talking about minority women.
5 percent presence of women has been made
mandatory by the Election Commission due to which the political parties are
obliged to give tickets to them and get them elected.
It is also difficult for minority
women to contest elections because they are dependent on their families and
their source of income is not very special for them to spend big in elections
and be a part of the campaign. Here we have a tradition of spending on the
candidate by various people who are known to win and get these benefits.
Mangala Sharma says that Mahesh Kumar Malani is a Pakistani politician who has
been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. He is the
first non-Muslim to win a general seat (unreserved seat) in the National
Assembly of Pakistan.
Belonging to a political family of
Tharparkar, he started his political career in 1996-97 and was the president of
PPP district Tharparkar and the minority wing PPP Sindh province president.

political parties elect grassroots representatives of minorities who are
social worker activists, then only their basic and long-standing problems can
be solved. Mangala Sharma says that recently the first woman candidate
belonging to a minority in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has submitted
her nomination papers for the general seat from PK 25 Buner.
The first woman candidate belonging
to the minority, Dr. Saveera Parkash, has submitted
nomination papers to participate in the general elections from the platform of
Pakistan People's Party. No one knew them before, but the media has a very
important role, those important issues are brought to the public, which become
the focus of people's attention, then gradually the trend of the international
community is also moving towards them. Thus women need to be praised, they need
to be given confidence.
The majority in the Sindh Assembly is
among the minorities, it is with the Christians, only one seat has been
