12-Year-Old Girl from Balochistan Set to Make Waves at USA's Copernicus Olympiad

Arpanga Baryal, a grade 5 student from Learning House School System Quetta, has qualified for the prestigious Copernicus Olympiad, to be held in Houston, USA, from January 5th to 10th, 2025. Having won a bronze medal in the first round, she will represent Balochistan among participants from over 50 countries in the final global round.
During her stay in Houston, Arpanga will visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science and NASA’s Johnson Space Center, enhancing her experience beyond the academic competition. Known for its blend of academic rigor, cultural exploration, and diplomatic engagement, the Copernicus Olympiad provides a transformative experience.
Arpanga’s achievement brings pride to her region and highlights the potential of young talent from Balochistan on the world stage.
